Dog of the Month
Sidney

Sidney, known by many other names, depending on whether he is being naughty or nice has a very eclectic vocal range and he seems to save his best for his morning City Paws Club pick ups, which is always amusing, even if the neighbours do not agree.

If he could talk, he would always be asking for more treats! In true cheeky fashion, Sidney is particularly fond of chewing his way through flip flops, although no shoe is safe!

Other than a day at City Paws, Sidney’s favourite thing to do is go on long Sunday walks, preferably with his best friend Riley, and of course followed by a roast chicken dinner.

Employee Spotlight
Ashley – Dog Carer & Driver

Why do you love working at City Paws Club?
I absolutely love all animals but dogs especially! I love City Paws for all the different furry faces that I get to see every day. There is nothing better than a happy face and waggy tail to bring a smile to my face.

What do you like most about your job?
My favourite part of the day is pick ups first thing in the morning. Seeing a dog through a window before you’ve got to their door and you know that they can’t wait to see you is the best feeling.

Do you have a fur baby of your own?
Yes, I have two fur babies of my own. Ace, my 9 year old Rottweiler and Buddy, my 2 year old British Bulldog. They love coming to City Paws with me and sulk whenever I leave them at home.

What’s your favourite way to unwind after a busy week at City Paws Club?
It depends on whether my boys have come to with me to work that day or not. If they have then we sit down and have a nice chilled cuddle to relax at the end of the day. If they have spent the day chilling at home, then we go out for a lovely evening stroll.

If you could have one superpower what would it be?
If I had any power, it would be the ability to communicate with animals. I would love to know what goes on in a dogs head and I am sure we could have some great conversations!
